Kindle or Sony Reader?
Jun. 14th, 2011 10:32 pmI've been thinking about getting a reader which I'd be using MAINLY for fanfic. Meaning I'd want to convert and save word documents on the device.
Now I've already read a couple of tests and comparisons. The Sony is definitely more expensive and the display is supposed to be not as brilliant as the kindle. The kindle is limited in compatibility. The sony is limited in functions such as comments to your documents (you use a pen there, if I'm not mistaken, whereas the kindle allows you to actually type text).
And so on and on. I'd like to hear your experience. Which one is easiest to handle? How does it work to upload text files (*.doc format or *.pdf)? Is the Sony reader still like reading a real book or does only the kindle fulfill that (if at all)?
What would you recommend and why? And what are the advantages and disadvantages?
EDIT: Oh and are there any other alternatives than those two?
EDIT 2: GOT THE SONY READER POCKET EDITION IN PINK!!!
Already love it and named it Gaila :D
